Der Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 ist eine Legende in der 911 Serie. Er wurde 1973 entwickelt um an den europäischen GT Rennen teilzunehmen. Er besitzt einen 2.687ccm 6 Zylinder Motor mit 210PS und eine leichte Karosserie mit einer verbesserten Aerodynamik. Die RSR 2.8 Rennversion besaß einen überarbeiteten 2.808ccm Motor mit über 300PS und gewann 1973 die Europäische GT Rennserie. Das Modell wir auf dem TAMIYA BT-01 Chassis ausgeliefert in der Bauversion kurzer Radstand, Mittelmotor und Heckantrieb (MR). Das TAMIYA BT-01 Chassis ist ein Einsteigerfreundliches Chassis welches 6 verschiedene Antriebs- und Chassisvariationen bietet. So ist der Radstand in 257mm und 251mm baubar. Weiterhin orientiert sich das Chassis an den Antriebssystemen echter Autos und kann als Frontmotor oder Mittelmotor mit Frontantrieb bzw. Heckantrieb gebaut werden. Die beiliegende Karosserie ist unlackiert.
